AquaPi Pond: Smart Monitoring for Your Pool & Outdoor Ecosystem

from $820.00
Extra Parameter:
Home Assistant Hardware:

Bringing the Smart Home to the Garden. Managing a pond means dealing with unpredictable weather, rapid temperature swings, and evaporation. AquaPi Pond is a high-capacity monitoring solution that bridges the distance between your outdoor oasis and your Home Assistant dashboard, giving you real-time data on your pond's health from anywhere in the world.

AquaPi now features an integrated display! You can view your aquarium's vital water parameters live and in real-time right at the device—no need to pull up your Home Assistant dashboard just to do a quick spot-check.

Built for Scale and Durability:

The Pond version utilizes a heavy-duty hardware foundation designed to provide stable readings in larger volumes of water:

  • Integrated Wi-Fi Pool Kit Foundation: Built around the Atlas Scientific Wi-Fi Pool Kit architecture, this system is designed for longevity and accuracy in demanding environments.

  • Critical pH Stability: Rainwater and organic runoff can cause rapid pH swings in outdoor ponds. The included lab-grade pH sensor allows you to track these changes in real-time and receive alerts before they stress your fish.

  • Winter & Summer Temperature Safety: Monitor water temperature with high-accuracy sensors. Set up Home Assistant automations to alert you if the water gets too warm in the summer or nears the freezing point in the winter.

  • Pipe Integration: Probes can be connected into pipes. See Here

Why AquaPi Pond?

Most pond "alarms" are simple, standalone devices. AquaPi Pond is different—it’s a fully integrated member of your smart home.

  • Remote Peace of Mind: Check your pond’s stats from your phone while you’re at work or on vacation.

  • Predictive Maintenance: Monitor pump performance and water health trends to catch issues (like filter clogs or parameter crashes) before they become emergencies.

  • Modular Expansion: Just like the indoor versions, the Pond hub is ready for expansion. Add Salinity (EC) to monitor salt levels for therapeutic treatments or Dissolved Oxygen to ensure your aeration is sufficient during hot summer nights.

Included Sensors: Temperature (EZO-RTD), pH-EZO,ORP-EZO,
Optional Sensors: Dissolved Oxygen & Saliniy

What is AquaPi for ESPHome?

AquaPi for ESPHome is an open-source project that allows you to connect your aquarium to your home automation system. It uses an ESP32 microcontroller and a variety of sensors to monitor your aquarium's water quality and parameters. AquaPi then sends this data to your home automation system, Home Assistant*, where you can view it, set alarms, and create automations. Learn More
